Elite athlete James Greenwell founded the brand back in 2003. It was born out of the personal experience when he tore his Achilles tendon late in his career. He found that collagen was imperative in his recovery and after retiring from the sport, he launched Proto-col with high-grade collagen at the heart of all the products.

The brand comprises of three main categories; beauty supplements, skincare and wellbeing. Each product is formulated with collagen as well a multitude of other innovative ingredients to ensure optimal wellness and revitalised, youthful-looking skin.
