Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payments.
When confirmation of the order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
We are currently offering a FREE Standard Delivery Service to Mainland UK on orders over £50.
Options to upgrade to a faster service are available and details are on every product page and our Delivery Information Page. This can be added at checkout
Deliveries will be made via Royal Mail Tracked 48 postage with the option to upgrade to first class or Next Day Delivery.
Where possible, orders will be dispatched the same day unless your order is late in the afternoon or in the evening. These will be dispatched the next working day.

Delivery Schedule
We endeavor to dispatch your order as soon as possible, however, if the items are out of stock and may take a day or 2 longer we will let you know. Please allow 5-7 Working days for orders.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed if the item will be out of stock for longer than 2 days and given the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Returns Policy
We offer a 30 days return policy if you wish to return a product as long as the product is unused & unopened. Items should be returned in their original packaging without seals being broken in order for a refund. We will not accept any returns that have any appearance of having been used, seals split, re-sealed with celotape or evidence of the product being tampered with in any way.
Gift With Purchase: If an order has qualified to a FREE Gift with spend, and you are returning an item from this order that drops your order under the qualifying value, the price of the gift will be adjusted accordingly off your refund.
Please return to the address below with details of your order and the reason for your return. We recommend using a delivery service and obtaining insurance in case of loss.

Once goods are returned back to us, the goods are then quality checked and a refund will be issued within 2-3 days.
We always operate Extended Christmas returns.....Get your Christmas shopping done and have that rest of mind that if the item is not wanted for Christmas that you can return it.
As long as the seal has not been removed or the packaging opened, then you can send it back to us.

Skin Reaction & Suitabiity
Unfortunately we do not accept products back if they have either not suited you or have casued a reaction. For Hygiene reasons we are not able to re-use or return the product ourselves to the manufacturer.
For Dermalogica & Advanced Nutrition Programme goods only - should you experience an adverse skin response, please contact us with the following information for us to ascertain the issue or help give guidance. This is at the discretion of the manufacturer and we cannot guarantee the outcome. We may be able to offer a credit/exchange, and the prodcut will need to be returned to us if the manufacturer decides they will accept the product back. The following information will be required and a form will need filling out.

Damaged Orders
In the event that your order arrived damaged, please let us know within 48 hours of receiving the order via email. Please explain in full the damage that occurred. We will need some information and photo evidence of the damage and packaging both inside and outer packaging in order for us to make a claim. Failure to supply enough evidence can result in us not being able to replace or refund your order. Do not throw away any packaging or use the items until a decision is made. Please do not send the item back until the return is authorized by us.
FREE Samples
We offer free samples through our "Free Sample Reward" program. For every purchase, you make you will be given Free Sample Rewards, you can use these to purchase samples from our sample section.
What else should you know?
We are completely focused on delivering the best service standards around but there are a few things you need to be aware of when ordering samples:
The Dermalogica Samples are completely Free of Charge and we are not selling them to you. This means that we may not be able to fulfill the order as far as the samples are concerned. If we are out of stock of a certain sample a replacement will be sent.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is included if applicable.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
Privacy Policy
Beautythings.co.uk does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfillment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
